Not up to the mark
Human Rights Committee of the National Assembly reports prisons in the country are overcrowded and lack facilities.
June 27, 2010: A total of 1,080 prisoners are cramped in prisons with a capacity to take in just 846 inmates in eight jails across the country. For example, the Chamgang central jail has 426 prisoners against its capacity of 296.
